A vibrant track with a bubblegum edge. The Surfin' Birds' first foray into a track more pop but still alt, rock, and a few more words they threw at me, like "new wave" and "B-52s". I've Got A Feeling is possibly their most annoying song yet (not my words), so I wanted the visuals to have that same saccharine vibe.

I painted props and took some shots. I made the cover bold and symbolic, reminiscent of 80s pop art, with a hand-scrawled font (also mine) and The Surfin' Birds' classic logo stamped in approval.

It's ultimately a song about love. Specifically, that gooey all-consuming mad love you fall into when you find someone poisonous enough to cause a car crash. So I made the photos all rough textures and toxic colours, merry men and pastel lovehearts: poisonous infatuation through rose-tinted glasses.
